Mayor of Tinian & Aguiguan

Mayor Edwin Palacios Aldan was born on March 29, 1970 and is married to Rosita King-Aldan. Together they are blessed with a son, Anfernee King Aldan, who is a U.S. Veteran that served in

the United States Army as a Paralegal Specialist. Mayor Edwin Aldan has always been a source of pride for his family, especially his parents Benedicto De Guzman Decena and Florinda Aldan Decena.

Mayor Edwin Palacios Aldan was born on March 29, 1970 and is married to Rosita King-Aldan. Together they are blessed with a son, Anfernee King Aldan, who is a U.S. Veteran that served in

the United States Army as a Paralegal Specialist. Mayor Edwin Aldan has always been a source of pride for his family, especially his parents Benedicto De Guzman Decena and Florinda Aldan Decena.

As Congressman, he authored numerous spending bills for the island of Tinian and served in various committees in the 16th, 19th and 20th CNMI Legislatures. On November 13, 2018, the people of Tinian elected him to office as the new Mayor of Tinian and Aguiguan. He was inaugurated to the position on January 14, 2019. On November 07, 2022, Mayor Edwin P. Aldan was re-elected to serve a second term as the Mayor of Tinian and Aguiguan.

In the next four years, Mayor Aldan’s vision is to continue to foster an environment that

promotes responsible, sustainable and diversified economic growth that will work towards improving the quality of life for every single citizen who calls Tinian their home. In the immediacy, his administration will focus on working with the U.S. Department of Defense for all the military build-up and exercises and continue the work of sustaining the delivery of public programs and services that safeguard the health, safety and welfare of our people.
